The Alexander Group was such a pleasure to work with. We were extremely nervous considering we had no previous experience with a the whole house remodel. We also had heard of way too many horror stories. Fortunately, it was not the case for us. Alex and his team not only finished on time, but early. They really went above and beyond! We received timetables and estimates for multiple places, the Alexander group was priced accordingly and also stayed within 1% of the initial quote. We really can’t begin to say how fortunate we are with the choice we made. Alex was always on site, available for any questions asked. Even our neighbors who had to go through our renovation thought he was amazing. We will be definitely using the Alexander Group again for future renovations.

We recently had our kitchen counter tops and sink replaced and added a subway tile back splash. We are very happy with how the project turned out. The success of the project is due in part to the detailed planning work done upfront by our contractor. We had a general idea of what we wanted. Based on our idea, he provided us with samples for the various components. We did not have to spend time going from place to place to find them. All of the workmanship is of excellent quality and the project was started and completed in the time frame we had planned.

We had this contractor work on our house three times over a 25 year span: a kitchen expansion and remodel, a bathroom and basement room redo, and a two-story addition. They do a fabulous job! They spent as much time as needed communicating with us about our desires and proposing ideas that fit within our budget. Then they came up with unique designs we loved. They designed an unusual kitchen 25 years ago that we love so much I just never want to move from our house! They work on time and within budget. Their work is very quick, yet of a very good, solid quality. Their subcontractors (masons, steel workers, wood workers, electricians, etc.) are outstanding! They don’t waste any time; they are extremely polite; and they clean up the site nicely after each day’s work. The job foreman is polite, helpful and exceedingly knowledgeable about all areas of the project. He is on top of everything! We have always contacted three contractors before each project, and every time the Alexander Group comes out on top. There aren’t enough superlative words to describe how good they are. We give them the BEST recommendation!

The Aliexander Group designed a renovation of our house to allow first-floor living and facilitate ageing-in-place. His design was creative, functional, and met all our needs. He managed the whole project: everything was done in a timely and respectful manner (we lived there throughout), with sub-contractors who were uniformly skillful, thoughtful and pleasant to work with. He himself was flexible, honest and hard-working, almost always on site to supervise, and took full responsibility for everything from beginning to end, We are very grateful for his services.
